The Apprenticeship Series: Learning to Be With Jesus w/Greg Burnett

Greg Burnett came to speak to our community this fall and his message left some of us hungry to dive deeper into what he shared. Greg has offered to join us on the 3rd Saturday of January, February and March from 9am-noon to give us some time to flesh out these ideas. Join us on Saturday, January 21st for the first of these meetings.

What kinds of people are our churches producing today? Is there extravagant kindness, overcoming gentleness and persistent self-control? With Christlikeness as our standard as well as the mandate to do "everything" Jesus told his disciples to do, we should soberly weigh the promises of God anew. The only way forward to these ends is to be with Jesus and learn to receive His love, His power and His mission in a continual way. These 3 workshops will provide a context to examine the ways of God and begin to learn the means by which we can live with Him consciously every day.

Greg Burnett is a leader in the body of Christ based in the Hampton Roads area in Virginia. His experience includes working in the areas of city-wide transformation, day & night prayer and becoming disciples of Jesus.
